Al khowarismi was the author of “Kitab ul jabar wal muqabla” which was one of the first book of mathematics.

Von Neumann was a brilliant theoretician who did pioneering work in pure mathematics, operations research,game theory, and theoretical physics.
Von Neumann design and construct the first stored program computer.
In 1933 he became one of the founding members (along with Albert Einstein) of the Institute for Advanced Studies, where he worked for 20 years.

Lady Lovelace :

Lady Lovelace was the first computer programmer.
She work closely with Babbage to specify how to organize instructions for
the Analytic Engine to solve a particular mathematical problem.

Alan Turing :

He made turing machine.
During World War II, his team at the British Foreign Office built the Colossus machine, which used cryptanalysis,the science of code breaking, to break the secret code used on the German Enigma machine.
After the war Turing investigated what it means for machines to “think.”

Allen Tucker :

He gives the actual definition of computer science.
He also defines the task of the computer scientist.
According to him centrel concept of computer science is algorithm.

Konrad Zuse :

His greatest achievement was the world’s first functional program-controlled Turing-complete computer.
He founded one of the earliest computer businesses in 1941, producing the Z4, which became the world’s first commercial computer
He designed the first high-level programming language, Plankalkül.

Ervin Knuth :

Knuth has been called the “father” of the analysis of algorithms.
He also popularized the asymptotic notation.
Knuth is the creator of the TeX computer typesetting system, the related METAFONT font definition language and rendering system, and the Computer Modern family of typefaces.

Vincent Atanasoff :

He invented first digital computer.
He invented an analog calculator for analyzing surface geometry.

Howard Aiken :

He envisioned an electro-mechanical computing device that could do much of the tedious work for him. This computer was originally called the ASCC (Automatic Sequence Controlled Calculator) and later renamed Harvard Mark I.

Presper Eckert :

He invented the first general-purpose electronic digital computer (ENIAC)
He also designed the first commercial computer in the U.S., the UNIVAC, which incorporated Eckert’s invention of the mercury

Herman Hollerith :
He developed a mechanical tabulator based on punched cards to rapidly tabulate statistics from millions of pieces of data.
He was the founder of one of the companies that later merged and became IBM.

Blaise Pascal :

He invented the mechanical calculator.He built 20 of these machines (called pascal’s calculator and later pascaline).
In 1654 he wrote an important treatise on the arithmetical triangle. Between 1658 and 1659 he wrote on the cycloid and its use in calculating the volume of solids.
